Welcome to Society

‘Welcome to society!

We hope you enjoy your stay,

And please, feel free to be yourself,

As long as it’s in the right way,

Make sure you love your body,

Not too much, or we’ll tear you down,

We’ll bully you for smiling,

And then wonder why you frown.

We’ll tell you that your worthless,

That you shouldn’t make a sound

And then cry with all the others,

As your buried in the ground,

You can fall in love with anyone,

As long as it’s who we choose,

And we will let you have your opinions,

But please change to our views,

Welcome to society,

We promise we won’t deceive,

But there’s one more rule now that your here,

There’s no way you can leave.’

Needy

‘I don’t know how to tell you I’m broken,

Without seeming needy,

I don’t know how to open up,

Without feeling judged,

I don’t know how to cry,

When my tears feel like acid,

I just need you to see that I’m hurting, without me telling you.’

SPOOPY WEEK!

Today on spoopy week, we have a story!

‘We’re sorry. We’re out of breadsticks’

Measures

‘it’s not always tears that measure pain,

sometimes it’s the smile we fake’

i found that after we did an essay on poetry, I’d been looking at a lot more short poems and I thought I could just share this with you real quick.

Blind World

We’re seeing everything with blind eyes,

And judging everyone with closed eyes,

We don’t realize the broken dreams,

And the path that should be seen.

We listen with deaf ears,

Move with an attitude of ‘who cares’

We say only words like ‘I’ and ‘Me’

We don’t talk, we chatter.

By saying humans have become animals,

Why insult the animals?

Humanity is confined only in a few hearts.

Is anybody sure to find,

An ultimate cure?

Blah….

Last week I did nothing with my life. Except for go to winter guard practice. My guard instructor, Lucas, taught us some of our show for our competitions. At our break, we weren’t allowed to get drinks until we (Elaine and I) begged him. Haha.

Before Thanksgivings

Before Thanksgiving I got a new phone. This new phone was an IPhone 5SE.  It is great! It has touch ID, IPhone 6 functions, and the screen is not cracked like my old phone.

I was able to spend time with my cousins who drove in from New York. I was also able to attend winter guard clinics. All in all, it was fun.
